The study examined four distinctive specific objectives which are to ascertain the practice/adoption and level of clinic preparation, To determine the rate of effectiveness of this clinic preparation, To investigate those factors hindering clinic preparation, and to determine the possible solutions to improve clinic preparation in the study Area. The target population for this study was 80 and where 50 were sampled.50 questionnaires were distributed while 50 were retrieved for analysis using descriptive statistics. The research study identified the clinic preparation in the study area to the appointment system. It revealed that the appointment system has a great effect on organizational patient waiting time. It was also ascertained that there is a relationship between the preparation of the clinic and patient waiting time, it was affirmed that the appointment system of clinic preparation is the prepared clinic preparation in Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife, Osun state.
