The study is strictly for academic purpose and will be of benefit to students, public and private officials and the entire society as it will unveil the consequences of poverty eradication and will equally make several recommendations which will address the issue of the role of financial institutions in the Eradication of Poverty in Nigeria in order to enhance efficient service delivery in the bank for the desired transformation at the end. Basically on the available data through the primary and secondary source, the results were analyzed and conclusions were made from the findings. As part of the finding, several recommendation were made among which are the capital base of the bank should be increased First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) should, therefore, avail itself to the current consolidation policy, by seeking for more funds from the capital market.
