Abstract
When toxic substances enter a body of water, they will be dissolved, become suspended in water or get deposited on the bed of the water body. The resulting water pollution causes the quality of the water to deteriorate and affects aquatic ecosystems. Pollutants can also seep downward and affect groundwater deposits. Saida’s sewage and industrial waste are discharged into the rivers. Because this pollutant has entered groundwater, rivers and other water bodies will ultimately end up in our household. Such water is often highly contaminated and can carry disease causing microbes. This research work as a whole has therefore delved into the issue of these effects and has proffered solutions and recommendations as to how this trend can be reduced and ultimately stopped....
