Descriptive survey research design was used to carry out the research. Simple random sampling technique was used to select the respondents for the study. Five (5) secondary schools were selected from which one hundred and fifty (150) respondents were selected, thirty (30) from each secondary school. The data collected from the respondents was analyzed using statistical tools of tables, charts, mean score and standard deviation and t-test to test the hypothesis of the study. From the findings of this study, it was deduced that teenage pregnancy reduces female students’ concentration on their studies, makes some female students drop out of school, and also pregnant teenage females devote most of their study time to caring for their pregnancies. However, it was revealed from the finding that adequate sex education could reduce the rate of teenage pregnancy among female students in secondary schools and proper parental care could reduce the rate of teenage pregnancy among female students in secondary schools.
