The study employed a descriptive research design. The population of the study comprises all staff of the Kogi State Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Data for the study were collected through the use of questionnaires. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics of frequency and percentage which were used to evaluate the opinion of the respondents. The result of the data analysis revealed that effective communication has positively impacted conflict management in the workplace, and communication play a significant relation between conflict management. The study recommends that Organisations, Government ministries, Departments, Agencies etc. must try to effectively communicate their goods and objectives to staff who will help in actualizing their vision.
