Descriptive research design was used for the study, and the population of the study design used for the study comprised all people of Bauchi Local Government Area of Bauchi State. Simple random sampling techniques were also used to select 300 respondents as a sample of the study, questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection, and sample frequency and percentage count were also used to organize and describe the data collected, it was further conducted that majority of the respondents are aware that collaboration between government and community members can reduce the transmission of malaria. It also concluded that the majority of the respondents are using some measures that will help prevent and control malaria. And finally, it was recommended that the government should construct drainage for the free flow of wastewater to avoid stagnation which provides a breeding place for mosquitoes in the community.
