Due to the nature of the study, sample size of this research work was fifty (50) respondents, data collected were analyzed using mean and standard deviation to answer the research questions and determine the homogeneity of the respondents’ responses. T-test was used to test the hypotheses. Findings revealed that ensuring a safe working environment is often a legal requirement mandated by occupational health and safety regulations. Compliance helps avoid legal liabilities, fines, and penalties, demonstrating the organization's commitment to ethical business practices. The study recommended that Employers should take the initiative to motivate employees by improving work environments.
