The scope of the study is limited to the simulation and modeling of the Smart Alert Borehole Information Monitoring System. This includes the design and integration of sensor technologies and data analytics for tracking water levels, quality, and equipment performance in boreholes located in regions dependent on them as a primary source of water. Although the research focuses on boreholes, it does not extend to other water sources or broader water management issues. The study also emphasizes the socio-economic benefits that the system could provide to communities. The methodology adopted in this study follows the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. The research proceeds through several phases, including requirement gathering, system design, simulation, and evaluation. By using this structured approach, the study ensures that each phase builds upon the previous one, resulting in a comprehensive simulation that aligns with real-world needs. The SDLC model was chosen because it allows for a systematic design and testing of the system, ensuring that all functional and non-functional requirements are met. The simulation results demonstrated the potential benefits of the system in managing boreholes efficiently.
