Survey research design was used. Questionnaire was administered in order to obtain relevant material for the study. A total of 160 employees were used as respondents in order to collect the necessary data. The research questions were administered using frequency distribution and mean score. Finding revealed that entrepreneurship education in Jalingo Metropolis is effective and has a positive impact on youth empowerment and poverty alleviation. Challenges such as financial barriers, accessibility, and cultural expectations need to be addressed to enhance the reach and effectiveness of these initiatives. The researcher recommended that government policy on poverty alleviation and youth development should follow a multi-sectoral approach, where all the stakeholders are given specific roles to play. Government should initiate a comprehensive method of sustaining the programmes over a specified period of time. The federal government of Nigeria should set up adequate monitoring agencies to track the implementation process of the various poverty alleviation programmes it has introduced.
