Survey research design was used. Questionnaire was administered in order to obtain relevant material for the study. The study sample 60 respondents in the study area. The research questions were administered using frequency distribution and mean score. Findings revealed that the residents of Wukari LGA face significant threats from armed conflicts and communal violence. It exposed that economic hardship due to unemployment and poverty is a major challenge in Wukari LGA. Inadequate infrastructure and basic services (such as healthcare and education) have exacerbated the challenges faced by the people of Wukari LGA. Strengthening local industries and businesses can help mitigate the negative economic impacts of globalization in Wukari LGA. Implementing community-based security initiatives can effectively reduce the level of insecurity in Wukari LGA. Promoting intercultural dialogue and understanding can enhance social cohesion in Wukari LGA. The study also revealed that globalization has facilitated the spread of foreign cultures and values, undermining local traditions and contributing to social unrest. The researcher recommended that the government should strengthen local governance by providing adequate security measures and infrastructure that address the root causes of insecurity, such as unemployment and poverty. Policies that regulate and monitor the inflow of illegal arms and combat transnational crime should be implemented more rigorously. Public awareness campaigns should be conducted to educate the population on the dangers of illegal activities linked to globalization, such as human trafficking and drug smuggling.
