Questionnaires and interviews were used to procure the necessary data for this project. The research findings showed that institutions or polytechnics have a role to play in the productivity and maintenance of industry harmony in co-operative societies. It was recommended that the government provide a list of the motivational tools available to every cooperative in the state.
