Refractive errors, including myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia, are major causes of visual impairment globally, particularly due to a lack of awareness and underutilization of correction modalities. Using a descriptive survey design and a structured questionnaire, data was collected from 80 randomly selected nursing students. Findings revealed low levels of awareness regarding refractive errors and their correction, although the practice of using correction methods like spectacles was relatively higher. Barriers such as cost, community stigmatization, and misconceptions about spectacles were major limitations to correction uptake.
