A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing time-series data from the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and other reputable sources. The study analyzed data using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that the volume of foreign investments, investor participation, and investment diversification have a significant positive impact on capital market development, as measured by market capitalization, liquidity ratio, and turnover ratio. The model''s high explanatory power (R-squared 0.98) underscores the robustness of these relationships. Based on the results, the study recommended that the Nigerian government implement policies to attract foreign investments, such as tax incentives and regulatory reforms. Additionally, enhancing market transparency and promoting sectoral diversification are crucial for sustaining capital market growth.
