Business education is the process of teaching the skills and operations of the business industry, which can include topics such as finance, marketing, management, and economics. It equips students with the knowledge necessary to understand and operate in the modern business environment. It also encompasses a wide range of instructional practices and learning experiences designed to prepare individuals for various roles within the business world. These roles can range from entrepreneurship to executive management positions. This study examines the various roles business education play in the Nigerian economy, find out the challenges faced by business education in improving the Nigerian economy, and proffers solutions to the challenges. The descriptive survey design was used for the study because it focuses on people, the vital facts of people and their beliefs, options, attitudes, motivation and behavior and 20 respondents were selected for the study out of the 170 total respondents. The findings of the study confirm that challenges faced by business education in improving Nigeria's economy include outdated curricula, inadequate funding, infrastructure deficiencies, and lack of entrepreneurial skills development centers.
