The study used both primary and secondary source data. Population for the study includes the staff of Abuja geographical information system, out of which the sample size was systematically drawn. The study employed tabular analysis of data i.e., using percentages and frequencies. It has also reduced waiting time for obtaining information on land matters and improved managerial efficiency was identified as its strength. Furthermore, three critical problems of land registration were identified. These include a lack of institutional framework, high land charges, high cost of registration and inadequacy of technical skills/competent staff.
