This project focuses on the Design and implementation of an IoT-based student attendance system using an ESP32 microcontroller, simulated using the Wokwi online simulation platform. The system allows students to mark attendance by entering their identification number through a keypad. The ESP32 processes the entered data, verifies the student's identity, and records attendance status. A DHT temperature sensor is integrated to capture the classroom temperature at the time of attendance. Wi-Fi functionality is simulated to demonstrate network connectivity and data transmission capability. The entire system was designed and tested in the Wokwi simulation environment, eliminating the need for physical hardware while ensuring realistic system behavior.
