Evaluation of physicochemical parameters and bacterial assessment of borehole - Sharada Industrial Areas, Kano municipal, Kano state Department:Science Technology By: Muhammnnad1 Project ID: 9135 Rating: (5.0) votes: 1 Price:₦3000 Get the Complete MaterialAbstractAccess to safe groundwater is critical for many urban and peri-urban communities in Nigeria. This study evaluates the physicochemical quality and bacteriological status of borehole and well water in the Sharada industrial areas of Kano State. Water samples will be collected in both dry and wet seasons and analyzed for pH, temperature, turbidity, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), hardness, chloride, nitrate, sulfate, iron, lead, and microbiological indicators (total coliforms and Escherichia coli) using standard methods described by the American Public Health Association (APHA, 2017). Results will be compared with the World Health Organization (WHO, 2017) and Nigerian Standard for Drinking Water Quality (SON, 2007). Findings are expected to identify parameters outside safe limits, reveal contamination hotspots, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies....Preview Download Preview +Other Science Technology project topics and materials you might be interested in»Sugar contents in three different soft drinks (Lacasera, Sprite, Schweppes)»Design and construction of cell phone charger»Bacteriological qualities of food thickener deuterium microcarpum (ofor) and brachystegia eurcycoma (achi) sold in Owerri main market»Physiochemical assessment of soil samples from Nwambe Reserve Forest, Ndubia Igagu Izzi L.G.A, Ebonyi State.»Physico-chemical assessment of soil sample from Igbagu reserve forest in Ebonyi State»Qualitative production of biodiesel using neem seed oil»Obstacle detection robot with ultrasonic sensor»Fungi associated with the deterioration of in-can and painted walls of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Uwana»Pharmacological activities of plant secondary metabolites»Antitrypanosomal activity of ethanol extract of Tridax Procumbent leaf and whole flower on T.
