The hospitality and event management industry in Nigeria has become increasingly competitive, making effective marketing strategies essential for attracting customers, sustaining patronage, and improving profitability. The study was conducted to identify the marketing strategies adopted by the event centre, assess their effectiveness, and determine their impact on business profitability. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to 44 respondents, comprising staff, customers, and event planners associated with the Armani Event Centre. Descriptive statistical tools such as frequency tables and percentages were used to analyze the data, while inferential analysis was employed to examine the relationship between marketing strategies and profitability. The findings revealed that the Armani Event Centre adopts various marketing strategies, including social media advertising, pricing promotions, customer relationship management, and partnerships with event planners. The results further showed that these strategies have a significant positive influence on customer patronage and profitability, with customer service quality and relationship management having the strongest impact on repeat bookings and referrals. However, challenges such as a limited marketing budget and intense competition were identified as factors constraining marketing effectiveness. The study concluded that effective and well-coordinated marketing strategies play a crucial role in enhancing the profitability of event centres.
