Grounded in Institutional, Diffusion of Innovation, and Agency theories, the research assesses IFRS effects on reporting quality, transparency, comparability, and implementation challenges following the 2012 transition. A mixed-methods case study design was utilized, integrating primary data from a questionnaire administered to 20 purposively selected finance and audit staff, alongside secondary data from the company’s audited financial statements (2023–2025). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, financial ratios, disclosure quality indexing, and hypothesis testing. Findings reveal that IFRS adoption significantly enhances reliability, transparency, and comparability while reducing earnings management. Quantitative analysis demonstrated substantial revenue growth, a 2025 profit turnaround, and a 28.6% improvement in the Disclosure Quality Index. Although respondents noted challenges like expertise deficits and high costs, hypothesis testing confirmed these hurdles did not materially impair the positive reporting outcomes. The study concludes that robust internal controls enable IFRS to elevate financial reporting quality despite operational hurdles. Recommendations include regulators strengthening enforcement and training, while companies invest in capacity building and technology.
