Many SMEs in the area rely on manual record-keeping, leading to stock discrepancies, frequent stockouts, and poor supplier coordination. A descriptive survey research design was adopted, with data collected from 120 respondents using structured questionnaires. The system was built using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap, incorporating modules for real-time inventory tracking, supplier management, purchase order processing, automated stock alerts, and business reporting. Findings revealed that 78.3% of SMEs still use manual systems, while 85% expressed willingness to adopt a digital solution. User Acceptance Testing showed that 89.2% of testers rated the system satisfactory. The study concluded that web-based MIS adoption can significantly improve operational efficiency and decision-making among SMEs in Kano Metropolis.
